Syston Band is a small relaxed 4th section brass band that offers a welcome to players of all ages and abilities. Whether you are looking for a permanent band or a one-off blow, an experienced player or returning to banding after a break, you can be assured of a friendly welcome.
  
Full band practice: Monday 7.30 - 10pm
Beginners’ group: Thursday 7.30 - 8.30pm
 
Under the baton of MD Dennis Powell the band undertake annual summer and Christmas concerts, lead the Syston RBL Remembrance Parade and accompany local carol services: as well as appearing at fetes, carolling and other local events where the sound of a brass band always lifts the spirits.
 
The band practices at the Brookside (WMC) Club, right in the centre of the north Leicestershire town of Syston.
